This is the web page of the April 1999 European Escapade Contiki tour. It is a photographic record of 44 people travelling on a bus throughout Western Europe.

Our group consisted mostly of Aussies, a few Kiwis and representatives from other countries: South Africa, Canada, Singapore and Tasmania (;->). Generally a bunch of party animals.

This page was created and is maintained by Richard Barnes-Webb, one of the South Africans on the trip. I'm aware that the site is a bit egocentric at the moment. With a bit of luck this will be rectified:

Also, I tended to post short messages on the Bulletin Board System (BBS) on my personal home page from where ever I could get to an Internet cafe.
